Meet Dr. Kathleen Russo
Board Certified, Fellowship Trained MD. Dr. Russo specializes in Optimal Wellness Performance Medicine, and Longevity Medicine. She is the Owner and CMO of Carolina Healthspan Institute and The MedSpa at Carolina Healthspan. CHI provides services including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, Sexual Wellness, Integrative Medicine, Longevity Medicine, Weight Management, Performance Medicine, and Aesthetics.

Dr. Russo has worked in Zambia Africa developing and implementing a program to Prevent the Transmission of HIV from Mother to Baby. The program was successful and ultimately integrated into the Zambian Health Ministry for availability to all their people.
Dr. Russo was the Founder and Attending Physician of the Rowan County Child Advocacy Center providing medical evaluation, treatment and resources to victims of Child Abuse.
She is an avid runner competing in The Boston Marathon many times and now concentrating on Ultra Distance Mountain Trail Running.
She is passionate about growing, learning and helping her patients improve their Healthspan for a full and healthy life.
